Coldplay is finally coming to India in November and the fans cannot get enough of it. But, just when you thought you could start memorising the lyrics and sing them along live, we have some bad news. The ticket prices for the concert will range from 25 thousand to 5 fucking lacs.
This absurd pricing has caused an explosion on social media and the fans are going crazy yet again, but this time for a different reason. Because with that much money, you can do a lot of things. Like a lot.
SBI was the quickest to react to this news, probably for the first time ever. The Bank announced special loans with zero interest to buy tickets to the Coldplay concert.
The head of SBI Maharashtra, Mr. Ghorpade made this announcement to the press.
“The last time we received so many loan requests was when iPhone 6S was launched. It is a breakthrough for our bank and we are thankful to Chris Bhau.”
When Maharashtrian rock band “Lokhande Park” were asked about their reactions on this response this is what the lead guitarist Mike Shinde had to say,
“Hamara concert dekhne 500 rupaya bhi nahi kharachta public. Aur Chris Bhau ke liye loan lene ko taiyaar ho gaya. Kaay double standards aahet he?”
The Indian rock fraternity has taken serious offence over this unreasonable pricing. The Bollywood representative of Rock, Farhan Akhtar, wrote a poem to express his grief on this situation.
While Coldplay fans are busy figuring out ways to arrange for the money, we are pretty sure that these are the band’s thoughts.
Disclaimer: The news about the prices might be true but the rest of it is as fake the video where Coldplay dances to the tune of Jhingat.
